Pumpkins

This year, Powell was very specific in what he wanted carved into his pumpkin, but wanted nothing to do with the process. Isabel could have cared less about any of it. Powell wanted a "Swiper" jack-o-lantern. He saw the little "How To" commercial on Nick Jr. and proceded to tell us that we needed to print off the Swiper template (and yes, he used the word "template") so we could carve swiper into his pumpkin. Matt was a good sport and did it. It turned out pretty cool. I attempted a cute owl sitting in a tree. It did not turn out "cool" or good. This was my first attempt at something more involved, and it was a bit of a flop. Oh well! There's always next year! :)

Matt and Powell's awesome "Swiper"!

My poor owl looks like it's melting. :(
