Surprise!

Or maybe not so much for those of you connected with me on Facebook. We are expecting baby #3, so therefore I have been a bit absent from blogland. That, and the kids and I spent about a month in WY in July. I will obviously need to catch up a bit and post about our little vacay with pictures and such, but I'm really not feeling the best. I did have my first doctor's appointment this morning and everything looks perfect! Baby D is about the size of a grape right now, measuring 9 weeks, although I'm not quite 9 weeks yet. My "turnover" day is Wed. Yah...I don't get it too much either. My due date, however, is March 21st, for the time being. I will leave you with a couple pictures of this sweet little baby, and will update soon....As soon as I feel good enough to. ;P

WY-O 2011

Where to begin? We, of course, spent a couple/few weeks up in Wyoming with my parents (the kids and I, that is). We filled it with lots of splash park dates, eating, playing, spending time with friends, going to Utah... We had a wonderful time! Now I'm going to inundate you with pictures because there are just so many and I'm still leaving out a lot!

Creed lost his shorts.

What kid doesn't love a s'more?

This girl sure does. :)

Feeding g'pa's chickens "salad".

Kennedy put on a little dance show for us.

Told you this girl *loves* her baby cousin, Creed.

Cheeky little fella.

She also loves her g'ma Candice. :)
Best buds pretty much from birth. Brody and Powell. And the girls, Isabel and Lilly.

Got to visit with our friend, Nicole and her cute kids. She and her kids were in WY with her family, visiting from Boston while her husband was overseas.

Happy Independence Day from Wyoming!

I just love these series of pictures. It's so funny trying to take pictures of little people because of all of the non-cooperative, funny photos you get. Powell was actually attempting to take direction, but didn't quite "get" everything we were saying. In reality, we took a lot more pictures than this, but these were a few of my faves. :)

This was probably the best one we got of the 3 cousins. Isabel, Creed and Powell.
Isabel just loves her baby cousin.
Powell and his cousin, Kennedy, doing some Snaps.

Happy 4th!

Camping!

We took the little ones camping for the first time the weekend after Father's Day weekend. They've obviously been to the mountains since we have the family cabin, but we took them actual tent camping this time. I can say that Powell loved every single part of it. Isabel loved playing, throwing rocks into the lake and overall, getting dirty, but when it came time for sleeping, she was having none of it. It was a very cold and sleepless night for me. She wouldn't let me put her in her own sleeping bag and, until she fell asleep, she wouldn't let me lay her down. I basically got kicked out of my sleeping bag, and there was no way I was going to sleep in her mummy bag. Too chlosterphobic for that one! lol All-in-all, it really was fun and Powell always asks when we are going camping again.

We're on our way!
Beautiful Skaguay Reservoir where we set up camp.
We've only been here for a short time and she's already dirt encrusted. ;)
Up early for some fishin'. These boys fished most of the day and Powell LOVED it. He would cast and reel, cast and reel repeatedly....for quite a few hours! I've never seen a 4-year-old sit and do the same thing over for that long.
My little camper. ha!
Yes. I was actually there! lol
Bye bye!

My crashed out, dirty little babies. :)

The Babies and Their Daddy

A couple pictures from Father's Day. First we have the "mad" faces, then we have a fairly normal photo. They just love their daddy.

Father's Day 2011

Here is Matt's Father's Day book that the kids and I made for him. Well, who are we kidding? The kids really had nothing to do with making it, but it did involve pictures of them, so therefore, they are involved, right? Matt really likes it, and that's all that matters. I made breakfast of blueberry cornmeal pancakes, bacon and scrambled eggs. We've been enjoying a nice and relaxing day thus far. Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers and father figures out there! I hope it has been a blessed one!

"I Need A Hug"

And I shall take one, or should I say one million, from this little girl. :)
