Our "Blizzard"

Apparently our seasons have gotten confused here in CO. Just a few light days of snow in the winter, and then come spring, and here you go! "Blizzard". This was the first, but supposedly not the last, of our wonderful, snowy weather. It didn't stick for too long on the roads, so I was quite thankful for that.
Out our front door.
The back patio.

And here is my little man the day after said blizzard. He would not let me put mittens on him before we went outside, so I decided to let him see just how cold the snow could be and then maybe he would let me put them on him. Wrong. This picture was taken right after he fell into the snow, hands first. The tears started shortly thereafter. He still would not let me put the mittens on, would not stop crying, but wanted to stay outside. What's a mother to do? Well, we went inside, crying all the way, went down for a nap, and what do you know? He crashed out right away.
